Big News from Thailand + What’s Next

Major Update: I’m Moving to Thailand!

The past few months in Thailand have been incredibly full—of joy, growth, challenge, and clarity. And now… I have some major news to share.

I’ve also officially been given the opportunity to stay in Thailand for one more month! With that said, I am working to raise about $500 more to cover insurance and daily living expenses for this final month. If you would like to donate, please reach out or click here to donate. Beyond this month, I’m preparing for something even bigger:

The current plan is to return to the U.S. for a few months—specifically Florida, where I’ve been graciously offered a place to stay and a car to use. I’ll spend that time working, visiting people, and preparing for what’s ahead.

In January 2026, I plan to move back to Thailand long-term to begin a one-year training program in church planting.

This will be a focused season of:

  • Language learning
  • Intentional women’s discipleship
  • Partnering in a new church plant just walking distance from the university where we teach English

This calling is something the Lord has been growing in me for a while, and I’m excited to take these next faithful steps with Him.

Small Updates: An Extra Month in Thailand

Instead of returning in 2 weeks, I will be spending 6 more weeks in Thailand! In this extra month, I’ll be:

  • Assisting with another short-term team
  • Traveling up north again to Chiang Kham with the team, serving at the orphanage and participating in local outreaches
  • Continuing language learning
  • Setting up logistics for a long-term return (housing, visa, partnerships, etc.)

Ministry Highlight: The 12-Year-Old Who Chose Jesus

Last week, a short-term team joined us—and God moved in huge ways.

We did an outreach near a local church, where a 12-year-old boy came and heard the gospel for likely the first time. The next day, he showed up at church by himself. During the kids’ service, he said he wanted to accept Jesus.

We prayed with him and explained what it means to follow Christ. Before he put on the cross necklace we gave him, he removed his Buddhist amulet, a cultural symbol worn to protect from evil spirits.

Now? He’s been at the church almost every day since, hanging out with the pastors. He is the only Christian in his family.

This is just one of many powerful stories from the past week. God is moving here—and it’s such a privilege to witness it.

English Club is Growing!

Our English Club at the university is thriving! We’ve passed out flyers like crazy, and as of now, 83 students have joined our group chat to come practice English and build friendships. It’s such a cool avenue for connection and discipleship.

Life Lately

A friend from high school who now lives in a neighboring country came to visit last week—so sweet to reconnect here in Thailand, where we’ve actually traveled together twice before!

As I return to the States soon, I would love to connect with as many people as possible! I’ll be bouncing around a bit, so reach out if you want to catch up, hear more about Thailand, or talk about how you can be a part of what God is doing here.

Thanks for reading and for being part of this journey with me.
Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean the world.

To Him be the glory, in Thailand and everywhere.
